I went on a weekend and everything here was good. The place had a cosy atmosphere.

Quirky hotel with stunning rooms and exceptionally good view of lake. Variety of options, fantastic food. Amazing and excellent location in Windermere, very close to Hill Top, the centre and a great location of the lake, shops, restraunts and pubs, and the lake, bars and restaurants. Also, close to everything.

Beds were very uncomfortable.

The room was large with very comfy beds and central heating, multi-channel television, and tea and coffee making facilities. Private bathroom...

Place was clean, everything was great. The location was stunning for walking around The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction. Also, it was next to bars and restaurants. The excellent onsite restaurant had variety of food.

The room we stayed in was super comfy n had a killer view of the lake, like right there! The staff was really friendly and breakfast was more than enough, i loved it. Parking was ok too, rare around here. The location is perfect, close to everything you wanna see.

But man, those stairs were a workout n they could really use some upgrades in the bathroom. Felt kinda unsafe goin down in the wet.

Perfect spot in the lakes!

Had such an awesome time! The place was super clean, and the hosts were really friendly and chill. They could chat in several languages, great for my Polish pals. Rooms had everything, comfy beds, good WiFi, and even a TV. The only thing was that parking was a bit tight. Highly recommend this gem!

Lovely views from the top floor, but breakfast choices were a bit limited.

The stairs to the second floor can be quite challenging for those with mobility issues.

The location was perfect, just a quick 3-minute walk to the lakeside. Parking was convenient, a plus. The family room had two comfy double beds and was very clean. Each room had its unique charm. Breakfast was delicious and made to order, an excellent way to start the day. So many restaurants and bars within walking distance made dining out easy and enjoyable. There were minor inconveniences. The shower temperature fluctuated, and we had to wait for hot water. Some light bulbs seemed to be out. Despite these small issues, I had a wonderful time and can't wait to return with friends.

It was just a good match for a weekend outing in Windermere with good value for price. Breakfast was great, but I expected more variety. Consider checking out other nearby options for better deals and amenities.

The double room we had was cozy and carpeted, with a view of the lake that was picturesque. It came with a private bathroom, electric kettle, and a tv. The towels were fresh and there was a seating area to relax. Breakfast was solid with plenty of options for tea and coffee.

The cozy atmosphere of the Field House Guest House, with easy access to communal areas and a beautiful lake view from my room. The sisters running the guest house were accommodating.

Stairs could be challenging for seniors.

Stayed at field house and found the location perfect, really close to shops and bars. The breakfast service was excellent. The room was very clean and warm, a big plus.
